Acting as a reverse proxy, it enables you to shield your server by filtering malicious traffic, including DDoS attacks. Legitimate and protocol-compliant traffic is forwarded to your upstream servers, while any malicious traffic is effectively blocked at the edge.

How does it work?

By pointing your domain's DNS records to our protected Ingress CNAME, all traffic will be routed to the user's nearest v4Guard PoP. The PoP will then forward the traffic to your configured upstream server, while also caching static content for faster delivery and flood prevention (e.g. MOTD).

While using the Tunnel, your server's IP address will remain hidden from the public, making it impossible for attackers to directly target your server.
